1st ever crochet toy

Good Afternoon everyone & thanks for stopping by my blog today x

It's been awful weather here over the past few weeks, which is of course expected at this time of the year.
Good weather to watch films.

It's my half term week, so been catching up with house hold chores, retail therapy and of course Nan duties.

Today I am going to share a crochet rabbit with you. This was a challenge that I set for myself during lock down. My Great Aunt Bluey taught me to crochet blankets as a kid, but I could never read a pattern and never knew the crochet stitches. So with an easy pattern and a step by step video tutorial this is what I finished with. I did have to do and undo several times but persevered with it.
My Granddaughter half inched it!

I added the ribbon and a gem

The flower should have been on the opposite side, but I did not like the way I'd sown on the ear.
Added gem in middle too.

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to reading your comments.
I shall pop on over and visit you too x

Christmas Card

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you like what you see.
I do hope you are all keeping yourself safe and well where ever you are in the world x

Today I am sharing a Christmas card that I made.

I do believe the dies are by Tonic, and the flower die in the middle  I am not quite sure.
I have so many different flower and leaf dies that are no longer in their packaging!
Gems are from pound shop and moss in middle is by Anna Maria Designs.
I have also used some glitter on the snowflake border.
Card is most probably from Lime Tree Crafts. (I purchase so much!)
Merry Christmas die, again not sure.

I look forward to your comments and I shall be over to visit you too x

Christmas Cracker

Welcome to my blog and thanks for stopping by x

Today I am sharing a Christmas Cracker that I had a play around with.
I used JND proper cracker die. I love this die, cuts so easy and is easy to assemble.

I used card that I purchased ages ago from Ally Pally (Lime tree crafts)
Embossing folder is A4 size
Gems are from pound shop.
Flower is what I purchased from another crafter (before I had confidence to make my own)
Small roses and crystal stamens had in stash, but would have purchased online or craft fair.
Ribbon I do believe is recycled from a birthday cake.

Thanks again for looking. I will pop on over and visit you too if you leave a comment.
Take care and stay safe xx
