Masculine Birthday Card

Blimey, how hot and humid is this weather!!!
I love the sun, but I am even struggling. Wish I had a swimming pool, lol.

Today I am sharing a masculine birthday card.
I don't know about you, but I find them so hard to do. I love adding flowers and lace etc, and I find the cards for men you are more restricted.

I have found a masculine card more easy with the help of John Next Door dies and his tips/inspiration.

                                                                    Front of card .
Also used JND frame tutorial & his dies.

                                                           Stamp used from my stash

Close up

Papers are what I had in my stash. I buy lots of mine from lime tree crafts when at events
(plain card), and in other shops or online when I see a bargain.

Thank you for stopping by today. I love reading your comments and will pop on over and visit you too x

I shall be entering my card into the following challenges:-

Allsorts - Make it masculine

Stamping sensations - make it masculine

Lets craft and create - ATG/lots of layers

Daisy chain - #44 for the boys/men

The male room - #141 (our 7th birthday)

This is so striking Sally, both the colours and design and a great masculine card, many thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts and Stamping Sensations.

JND is indeed great to watch and John and Rose (Limetree) live close to me - not sure if you know but as there are no shows you can order on line from them.

It's a fabulous masculine card Sally-great use of your dies! I agree that it's much easier to make cards for females!!
I think we're all suffering from the heat here in the S.E.- too much for too long- at least it's meant to getting cooler...

Hi Sally, I struggle with masculine cards too, I am sure loving your masculine card here! Love the use of the diamond shape, a little sparkle and lots of masculine colors. Looks like an argyle sweater pattern and I am in love with your card! I have heard it is really hot in your neck of the world, been hot here in the states too. I do have a pool, so been taking long dips to cool off! I also have air conditioning, but I know many places in your neck of the world don't have air. I feel for you in this hot, muggy weather! Please keep cool as you can so no one has a heat stroke!!! Happy weekend! Hugs, Brenda

This is a great masculine card. I agree that they are so hard to make since you can't really use flowers and bows, lace and trims which I love to use on my cards. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
