New Home

Hello there and thanks for popping by my blog today.

Today I am sharing a card I made for a friend who I met at the bus stop on my way to work.
Something had happened and we along with others were waiting an age for a bus to come along.
We just started talking and became good friends.

Me and my husband renewed our wedding vows last year (30 yrs). We went to the same church where we got married, but had a different vicar.

Denise, who I met at bus stop, worked at the university and had access to an industrial cutting machine. She made cut out heart shapes for the table, heart shaped wooden decoration with our names in it & also I asked her to design my cake topper.

My Cake Topper

Heart Decoration

Cut out heart shapes

Now onto the card I made

I made the flowers.
Typed the saying myself.
The tag states what day they moved in.
Key I have had in my stash for yonks.

Inside of card

I think decorating the inside adds to the card. I never used to!!

Hope you like what you see & thanks again for stopping by.

I shall be entering my card into the following challenges

Creative Moments  Challenge 174 Anything Goes.

Crafts Galore Encore challenge #66 Anything Goes

Creatalicious Challenge #169 Anything Goes with an added twist of sparkle

Hi Sally,
What a great idea to renew your marriage. I do not know if it's a habit in your country? De cake topper is beautiful.
And nice to read how friends are made! Common place, special friend.
Your card is wonderful!

Sometimes fate intervenes to make you meet someone who will be special, how wonderful. As for your celebration "I do" (again) your friend did you proud, what amazing cuts and great designs too. I LOVE your card and the different fonts you used, those flowers are beautiful and I agree about the insert finishing the card off.
