Hello there & thanks for stopping by my blog today.
On Saturday I went to Alexander Palace with my Mum. Love going there, although I must say that there did not seem to be as many stalls or people! regardless we enjoyed the day & still spent our money, Lol.
I would love to try out the NEC in Birmingham, any info on this would be great.
Today I am going to share a Little Mermaid Cake that I made for my Daughters Niece for her 3rd birthday.
I am going to show you pics all around the cake.
The bottom tier was Madiera and the top tier chocolate.
My Daughter purchased all the figures which are on the cake.
Hope you enjoy looking & will enjoy reading your comments. I will then pop on over & visit you too.
Top of cake
I had to make some more shells to go around the Mermaid so as she did not keep falling over.
I coloured all my own fondant except the Top Tier which I purchased from Hobby Craft.
The shapes are from a Wilton silicon mould.
I had several attempts to remove them before I got the knack.
Pearls are edible too.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
Enjoy the rest of your day where ever you are in the world.

Oooh this is fabulous.xxx
What an amazing looking Birthday cake Sally, loos yummy too. I went to Ally Pally Saturday as well, I thought there was as many stalls (just) as April, but agree there were not as many people, but then there was a show at Hampton Court at the weekend too.

Such a beautiful cake Sally. I love the colour and the seaweed is so pretty. Michelle x
This is so gorgeous Sally. I didn't go to Ally Pally this year as I am having trouble with all the stairs at the Railway station. They are suppose to be putting lifts in a lot of them but not sure about the old London ones. I am going to the NEC in Birmingham on the Saturday as there is a coach company that picks me up right outside my door. Hope you make it, love to see you and Mum there.

Hi Sally
Wow, yum and wow again. Likes amazing!
Wish I could've got to Ally Pally at the weekend as a friend of mine was demoing for Creative Expressions. I ho to the NEC in March and November as its only minutes on the train for me. The November show is great as you get a couple of other shows on at the same time. If you have a Tesco Club card with some vouchers available you can get a show voucher from them for £3 each.
Best wishes.
