Kyla's Princess Party

Hello there, welcome to my blog.
If you are not already a follower please do become one and I will be over and do the honours for you too x

Today I am going to share some of the stuff I did for my Grand-daughter Kyla's 3rd birthday party which was in April.

Unfortunately I was not able to make my own birthday cake because I was on holiday in Spain. I did not fly home until the day before Kyla's birthday party.
Instead I decorated a ready to decorate cake which I purchased from Morrisons on the way home from the Airport.

All the bits made have been printed, cut & assembled. I found what I wanted from the web and it was all free. I cannot remember where I got them from so if you can enlighten me to give the person credit I would be most grateful.

Hope you enjoy x
Every child had a princess hat & a wand which I did not take a pic of.
They were purchased from the 99p shop

Pop corn boxes

We put soft crisps in these.

I folded these napkins to hold pink cutlery.

These envelopes are big enough to hold a chocolate lolly which I purchased from Lidl.

Pink straws purchased from £1 shop. I added the princess theme onto them.
We also had princess cups and plates.
Also
Cartons of flavoured water with a princess theme wrapper around each one.

These door hangers went in each childs party bag.
I also bought princess party bags with bubbles, bracelet, magic slate, sweets, colouring book, pencils and a balloon.

Each party bag was tied up with one of these tags.
I laminated them so as they were strong.

These 3D stand up dolls were printed onto card. They were a touch fiddly but well worth it.
They were put around the cake table.

The cake.
This is one of the wands which each child had. The Tiara is metal with rhinestones, so as my Grand-daughter can keep and wear it.
Name and roses are fondant. Used my own letter cutters and mould.
Purchased the boa from haberdashery store.
Candles from Asda.
Pink pearls are edible.

I purchased this cardboard cake stand from Ebay.

Blueberry Muffins.
I made the cake toppers.
Cake wrappers from £1 shop.

The birthday girl Kyla. 3yrs Old.

I also made some princess bunting, but again forgot to take a pic!

I do hope you have enjoyed looking and I look forward to reading your comments.
Enjoy the rest of your day where ever you are in the world x

Thank you for the comment on my blog and becoming a follower, I have left you a reply. If you put tatting in the search link on my sidebar, You will find a lot of posts of what I have tatted. Tatting dated back to the 17th century and is Anglo/French as far as anyone can find out. There is a piece which I wrote a couple of years ago headed the revival of tatting I can't remember exactly where it is on my blog but the search button should find it.
If you would like any other information I would be happy to help you

Hi Sally, thank you for your kind comment on my blog, it's much appreciated, also for becoming a follower, that's great, I am following you too, I've had a quick peek about and I'll be back to have a proper look around, you make some lovely things. I just want to point out though Sally, you commented on 'my colouring', the image that you see is pre-coloured, it's one from a CD rom, so I can't claim the honours for that I'm afraid, although I do always colour over the pre-coloured images with my polycolour pencils, I always put the recipe for my cards at the end of the post. Hope to see you around. Take care.

Your daughter Kyla is really adorable and you really planned for just a perfect party. I also want to plan a similar party for my daughter and for that I want to rent a space for an event. Do you have some good suggestions for me?
