70th pop up box card

Good Sunday afternoon everyone. Hope you are enjoying your day.
The weather has been glorious here.
Yesterday me & hubby went to Portobello Road, they did predict rain, but we had none. Ended up buying myself a new dress, shoes and hubby bought me a lovely glass locket with sea pearls and turquoise stones. We got a fab deal, bartered the women down and was pleased as punch with what we paid.

Today I am going to show you a commissioned card that a work colleague wanted for a friend of hers.
She just gave me the colour combo, age & name.

I got carried away with decorating the box card and it ended up not fitting the envelope! Good job I know how to make my own boxes, lol.

What I used

Box card from craft work cards. You can buy yours HERE.
Papers were from my stash. All out of packets I'm afraid.
Flowers from the £1 shop.
Large butterfly is an Xcut punch.
Other butterflies is a Martha Stewart punch.
Flourishes is a Marianne Design die cut.
Ribbon from my stash.
Pearls & gems from Meiflower.
Embossing folder is a Tonic Studio A4 size.
Large rhinestone in middle of ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts.
70, was cut from card & then glittered.
Letters is die cuts by Xcut.

Hope you have enjoyed looking & I look forward to reading your comments. I shall pop on over & visit you too x

Fabulous flower box Sally, glad to hear that you had a great day and had a good time shopping at Portobello Road, it's always fun to check what they have there. Mind you, haven't been to London for three years now.

Warm hugs
Maarit
