Pirate Cake and Decorations for my Grandson's 2nd birthday.

Hello there,

Long time no see!

It's been a fair while since I have posted anything or done any blogging. I have been extremely busy with crafting projects, which I am now able to share with you all over the coming weeks.

I am delighted to announce that I now have another Grand-daughter, born on the 19th June and named Poppy. Pics to follow in future posts.

Today I am going to share my Grandson's 2nd birthday party, (which was on the 16th March). I made the decorations and cake. He had a pirate theme.

It is going to be picture heavy!!!! but hope you enjoy.
I got all my inspiration from the net, pinterest and blogs. All were free, I just had to download, print, cut and assemble.

                                                              Here is the cake

Close up of cake. Used Curly Wurly, Maltesers, Liquerious allsorts and chocolate fingers.

Crushed digestive biscuits for sand. Edible glitter and fondant starfish.

The sea, I painted blue food colouring onto white fondant, fish are also edible.

Blueberry Muffins.

Pirate Table Centre Piece. This defiantly put my craft knife skills to the test!

Tub was £2 from Asda, filled with sand and shells and treasure. Rope from an haberdashers.

Every child had a pirate hat.

And an Eye patch.

And a Map.

Attached the pirate labels to cartons of flavoured water.

Straws to go with the drinks.

Used cake pop bags which I purchased from £1 shop and added flumps & attached labels.

This pirate booty envelope was just the right size for the chocolate lollys which I purchased from Lidel.

Put digestive biscuits in here, but chocolate would have gone down better!

Labels to attach to party bags.

Although these have treats in, we added crisps into ours.

I also made some popcorn boxes, but don't seem to have a pic!

The Birthday Boy Eddy.

I do hope you enjoyed looking, we definitely enjoyed the party.
I look forward to reading your comments & I will pop on over to visit you too.
