Heart Easel Card

Hello My fellow bloggers.

I do hope you have finished with all your Christmas shopping & ready to enjoy it all x
I know I am.

What is this weather all about!!!!! It's madness .....

Today I have a card to show you that I made a while ago. I purchased the new Tonic Indulgence dies (well they have more out now), lol, from Create & Craft.
I just wanted to have a play with them, instead of putting them away & forgetting I had them.

I combined the Elegant oval (which should have been a circle) & Elegant vine square.
The square gave the shape of the card - oval inside.

Today is one chilly day .... looks beautiful outside ....... but you definitely need to wrap up.

Well, we have had our trick & treater's  & all those fireworks too. I watched some from my window (where I was warm). I do miss going to displays. My kids are all grown up with all their own little families, apart from my 19 yr old, he don't want his mum hanging around. And my hubby can't stand them!!!

Smile ......

Hello & thanks for stopping by my blog today.

This is a card I made for an artist at our setting. She was an inspiration to us the staff & the children/parents. She worked with the children to build sculptures, work with clay, experimenting with different ways of using a selection of paints BUT what has stuck in my mind is that Cath (our artist), taught the children how to use a digital camera. It was lovely to see photos through a child's eye. Our children are only aged from 2 to 4 yrs old. Cath even did a photography  expedition in Italy, using one child from our setting's photos. Also at Wandsworth South-sides, another photography expedition, Our setting came 2nd! And cath also involved senior citizens and our children with photography. The children visited them & enjoyed cakes & they came to our setting too, fun had by all.
Unfortunately, Cath moved too far to travel to & from our setting. She will be greatly missed by all.

Here is the Easel card I made:-

Today I had a play with my Martha Stewart clay & moulds. Got to wait 24hrs for them to air dry, And then I can add them to a card.

Today I have a sympathy card to share with you. I know it's not a great occasion, but unfortunately we all need one at some point in our life!

I made this for my husbands work colleague a few months back now.

The glitter does not show up perfectly here!
Looks very effective in real life.

What I Used:

A large wooden stamp: (cannot see who it's by, but I purchased it @ Alexander Palace) I stamped the image several times because I wanted to decoupage it.

Fine Glitter: Purchased @ Alexander Palace £1 a scoop.

Quickie Glue Pen: A must for this image.
